  1. I think it is mean in some ways because they are free. But then it is good because they are breeding them.

I think it is good and bad. Good for the species but bad for the individual deer.

  2. I think it is good because the deer's won't all get killed so they don't become extinct. I also think it would be a good idea because it will keep some safe from hunters.

  3. I think it is good and bad. Bad because they taking them away from thier enviroment, and good because they will be safe from thier preditors. If deers are taken they should be babys so they dont get used to thier natural enviroment and should be taken to a good enviroment with lots of room.

  5. I don't really think it makes a difference because they are going to be killed anyway on either the mountains or on domestic farms for meat and velvet. I do however think it is cruel taking them alive strapped to a helicopter suspended in mid-air. The deer population should be kept down but also not entirely domesticated so you still have some deer roaming the mountains.

  6. I think it is good because it means that they get killed at a controlled rate and that more get bred so they don't become extinct.
But i also think its bad because they take then out of their environment and don't have to hunt and work to survive.

  7. I think its good and bad... Good because their away from hunters and predators so that the number of deers dont go down as much, And bad because they are being taken away from their natural habitat.

    Jacinda :)

I think it is good as in some place deer destroy forestry and native bush. They are also good to eat so if they are farmed there meat with be more available in supermarkets and cheaper.

  8. I think it is a good thing as long as some of the public get something out of it and that they can be kept in a place where they don't injure/kill our endangered wild life.

  9. I think it is a good thing because the deer arnt getting killed as much by the hunters but it is also a bad thing because the hunters will not be getting as much meat out of the deer as the normally do.

  10. I think its good because it provides more food and jobs for people. i think it is also bad because you are taking a wild animal out of its natural environment.

  12. Endangered Info:

A bongo also known as the antelope is a nocturnal animal (sleeps at daytime, is awake at night). They are also herbivorous (only eats plants, trees etc.). Both female and males have horns.

The emperor tamarin lives together in groups of two to eight animals. The oldest female leads the group above several mature males. Mutual grooming plays an important role for bonding and socializing.
